  • The hotel itself dates back to the early days of winter tourism as St Moritz was the birthplace of Alpine holidays as we now know it. The Kempinski was there right from the start providing mountain lovers with luxurious accommodation and it still lives up to its rich legacy.

  • From a culinary point of view the hotel exceeds in every way carrying multiple awards achieved by Michelin awarded chefs and their team. The restaurants serve various cuisines (E.g.: Italian, French, Japanese) and the Cà d'Oro even carries a Michelin Star and 17 Gault Millau points. The Kempinski chose Mathis Food affairs as their gourmet partner. Founder Reto Mathis is one of Switzerland best and most extravagant chefs serving Truffle stuffed Risotto's right at the slopes of The Corvilgia mountain (st Moritz's main ski area). He even acquired a Michelin star with one of his mountain restaurants.
