Hotel facts

Fantastic blend of Alpine charm and boutique luxury hotel, child friendly hotel next to the classy skiing resort of Lech and for après ski drink you can easily visit St Anton and St Christoph which are very close.

  • The building is very charming, it used to be an old farmhouse and its over 350 years old. The hotel has a newer section that is connected via an underground corridor. these newer rooms have great bay windows in the front facing bedrooms that offer stunning views over the mountain decor of Lech.

  • Hotel is located 3 kilometres from the village centre of Lech in a hamlet called Zug. It is actually an ideal starting point for your day on the slopes or for magnifiscent strols troughout the valley and forsets.

  • Some years ago, a great renovation was done to serve you better as a guest and to save energy. For this the hotel has been awarded with sevral Eco certifications and labels.

  • Internet is a bit slow and only available in the lobby and bar area. The excellent cocktails they serve compensate the discomfort in a second. Wifi in rooms is available through telecom hotspots.

What we love

  • Hotel has an outstanding 1500 square meters complimentary spaand has a heated outdoor outdoor pool with stunning views over the mountain decor of Lech and Zug

  • It's a family-run hotel that describes itself as "informal luxury". AlpineBooker couldn’t agree more!

  • We loved the amazing selection of local, national and international cheeses! (Complimentary to the half board menu)

  • The staff is very friendly and helpful, its amazing how everybody remembers your name

  • The à al carte restaurant is one of a kind and is the base of the GastHoff Rote Wand that used to be only a restaurant that served celebs and royalty the best food of the valley. Word is they still do...the chef is awarded with 15 Gault Millau points!

  • The rooms are spacious, comfortable and designed by one of Austria's most famous architect Dietrich Untertrifaller with an amazing eye for detail and Alpine luxury

  • The bar serves amazing cocktails, do not miss out on your welcome drink by the way
